Company History

Roy Shelton and Grant Selle started the floor-covering business in 1972. In 1979 they began working full-time for Cloud Carpets & Draperies. In April 1989 they opened Henderson Floor Coverings located at 334 S. Water Street, Henderson, Nevada with the idea of servicing customers in the retail, builder, and commercial floor covering businesses.

In February of 1993 Roy and Grant bought the then 30-year-old Cloud Carpets & Draperies from A. L. Greenbaum and incorporated the two into Henderson Floor Coverings, Inc. (DBA Cloud Carpet One Floor & Home). Under the leadership of Roy and Grant, Cloud Carpet has become the #1 Floor Covering Retailer in Southern Nevada operating in three locations.
